1. The nurse is nice and very caring for Ishmael
2. Ishmael was being teased because they thought the nurse liked Ishmael.
3. The nurse told him she might not want to be friends with him.
4. He didn’t trust anyone in his life at the moment because he didn’t like the place he was in.
5. I have never been in a situation where I feel the same as Ishmael.
6. The nurse gave Ishmael a walkman cassette player.
He is happy that he received the gifts.
7. When he shot the prisoners, he found their somber eyes irritating.
8. Ishmael had tears in her eyes and told him that it wasn’t his fault.

18. He feels sad when he gets flashbacks.

20. They bought him a Bob Marley Exodus cassette.
21. So he can write down what he is thinking.
22. I have never wrote a song.
23. Ishmael liked the story of Rastafarianism and King Solomon and queen of Sheba because he related the long distance they traveled and their determination to reach their destination.
24. A song from Bob Marley I like is One Love, its calming.
25. What phrase did Ishmael start to believe?
26. My Family has helped me out of my rut.
27. Ishmael liked talking to Esther because he can open up to her.




Delved- to carry on intensive and thorough research for data

Conversation-

Burdensome-
oppressively heavy; onerous.
-Him being Burdensome had him.

Wharf-

-The wharf was destroyed due to the weather.

Cringe- to shrink, bend, or crouch, esp. in fear or servility
-She cringed in fear.

Genuine- possessing the claimed or attributed character, quality, or origin; not counterfeit; authentic
-They had the finest genuine leather in their house.

Anguish- excruciating or acute distress, suffering, or pain
-He had overcame his anguish during that time.

Rastafarianism - a religious cult, originally of Jamaica, that regards Africa as the Promised Land, to which all true believers will someday return, and the late Haile Selassie I, former emperor of Ethiopia, as the messiah.
-He strongly believed in rastafarianism.

destination- the place to which a person or thing travels or is sen
Their destination was in Rome.

somber- gloomily dark; shadowy; dimly lighted
There was a somber passageway.
